acrylic on canvas, then phone book + varnish on canvas, followed by extreme frustration and tearing everything to pieces. Then feeling OK again, then a gold wash over the whole thing. Not my original plan for the piece, but I like it and visitors to my home always compliment this one. I think it looks better in person.
