Butterfly wings for Maggie! A neat little cut & sew project from Sprout Patterns. I got to pick the fabric designs, they print and ship to me. Then I follow the directions and VOILA! Maggie has butterfly wings. An easy DIY Halloween costume element or just something for the dress up box. Now what color should I make Alma's wings?
Here is Nolan's quilt! I worked on this one in Fall and Winter 2015 and completed in January 2016. Nolan is Maeve's brother and he was born in January. The grey fabric has little silver deer on it. The teal has arrows, and the orange has little white hexagons. The back is a navy & white plaid fabric.
I followed THIS pattern. It was a challenge but I would definitely try it again.
This is a little lap quilt I made this winter. For Meagan! Just 2 fabrics with batting in the middle. Only "quilted" a little 1/4 inch line at equal intervals in kind of a grid pattern. Perfect for a wrap around the shoulders, or some stretched out legs while snuggling on the couch. Will most definitely be using this method again. Hardly any cutting which makes for a quick and easy project!
